Hi, I’m Fabian. Welcome to Finanz2Go.
My work has taken me from an early fintech startup to digital businesses and financial services. Today, I bring that experience to Finanz2Go: English-language guides, comparisons and nine calculators for navigating money in Germany.
From building financial products to making finance easier to understand
The path to Finanz2Go
My background spans fintech, digital commerce and financial services. Here are the milestones behind the website you’re using today.
- 2012–2015Fintech
An early start in fintech
I co-founded Goldpay in Heidelberg, a fintech startup working on an app for gold-backed payments. We developed a minimum viable product and brought in the first beta testers.
- 2017–2019Digital business
From university to digital business
I completed a Bachelor of Science at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg in 2017. In the following chapter, I joined Yilba GmbH in Düsseldorf as an eCommerce Manager and helped build an online shop for Cipo & Baxx, working across eCommerce, digital products and performance marketing.
- 2020–2023Financial services
Working directly with financial clients
As a Senior Investment Consultant at TauRes in Berlin, I worked personally with clients on investment and financial topics and led a team. This was a previous professional role and is not a current advisory offer through Finanz2Go.
- 2023Finanz2Go
Finanz2Go begins
I co-founded Finanz2Go in Berlin in May 2023. Its original focus was helping international professionals in Germany engage with financial topics in a language they could follow.
- 2024Partnerships
A broader view of financial services
In 2024, I joined S-Communication Services GmbH in Berlin, working on partnerships and digital business models in the Sparkassen ecosystem. This is a separate professional chapter alongside Finanz2Go, not a partnership between the organisations.
